In early November we had the craziest weekend where 5 RPCVs (returned Peace Corps Volunteers) were all in DC for the same weekend.
Now we had some crazy shenanigans together in Cambodia, some of them would have led us to be arrested in America, so we toned down things a little and decided to get dinner together and go see some of the local monuments. I think there were 16 of us together who had all served together across 3 different groups of volunteers in Cambodia.
After a year of living in Utah and not seeing another Peace Corps soul it's amazing to me that there are so many of us out here in the DC area. It never gets old seeing them.
Even just walking around the city ghosting each other was such a blast. But of course we couldn't end the night without at least a few shenanigans. Those may or may not be her shoes in her hand. The consequences of saving a few bucks on our metro cards and walking back to our car. I sure hope she threw away those socks after walking on the streets of DC in them.
And lastly, of course we're going to take advantage of an obvious slide built into the Lincoln Memorial. If you try this and fall off the side and break your neck please don't sue me for showing you this video.

hahaha! Oh man I love the 'slide'! Why are the best shenanigans always just slightly questionable when it comes to considerations of good manners, sanity, legality, etc.?
Looks like you all had a BLAST!!! :-)
It looks like you had a great time together!
