September Snail Mail Exchange

Have you heard of the Snail Mail Exchange? Chelsea from Lost In Travels and Melyssa from The Nectar Collective have teamed up to bring a wonderful mail exchange. You sign up on one of their blogs every month, then they send you an e-mail with a spreadsheet where you find your name and your match. Then you have time to get to know your match, and by the 22nd every month you mail your new friend a package of things you picked out for them.

People from all over the world participate in the collective, so you get things from all over the world. It's great too because it's cheap, you spend $5 on the contents of the box, and then just pay shipping to send it to them.
This is my second month participating in the Snail Mail Collective, but only my first month getting a package. This month I was paired up with Deanna From Castles to Casinos. She's from Vegas, but just moved to Germany. It was so fun to get to know her all month long, and then receive the greatest package.
Let me tell you, she nailed this one right on the head. She knew the key to my heart was food, and it was perfect. I'm excited to get some turkey bratwurst to try that currywurst sauce with! I loved receiving the book about the area she's living in Germany, it's so beautiful!

Thanks Deanna for the perfect package. I hope yours reaches you real soon!

I'm so so glad you liked it! It was hard considering we didn't really fit into th theme for the month and the fact that I'm new to where I live and you're in a temporary space! You can't go wrong with food! And Germany is so known for the currywurst, Haribo gummy bears and Kinder chocolate. So at least I could give you a little taste!
I can't wait to get my package!

Amazing choices Deanna! I love the Currywurst packaging. Looking at that box makes me miss Europe. Enjoy your haribo.
