5 years. I still can't believe that we've been married for 5 years.
Hal and I had such a fun anniversary this year. I couldn't have guessed that it would have ended up being so much fun. I told Hal a month ago I wanted him to plan our anniversary as a surprise. While it may have taken some pushing to actually get him to plan, it was a blast in the end.
It started out with the first surprise, tickets to my very first major league baseball game, a Washington National's game.
We had such a blast at the game, and were in a really good spot to see what was going on.
When we got home I surprised him with cupcakes, and he surprised me with flowers.
The next morning we got up bright and early and drove out to Assateague Island National Seashore. We had heard of it before, but were shocked at the beauty of the small strip of land. Too bad I didn't get any pictures of us at the beach, or how beautiful it is. How in the world do you get pictures at the beach? Either I'm worried about someone stealing my camera while I'm in the ocean, or my phone getting sand in it. So you'll have to settle for a picture of some of the wild ponies that roam the island.
We had the most fabulous rain storm that night, and if anyone knows me, you'll know that is practically the best anniversary present right there.
We slept in the next morning, and picked up some chicken necks on our way out to the island. It was time to crabbing. We intended to hit the beach since the day was pretty warm, but actually had a blast crabbing on the marshy side of the island.

Aww! That's fun! You guys have been married like forever, seriously. :) well, 5 years sounds like a long time to me, anyways. Angel and I usually switch off, and year 3 should be my turn to plan, but he claims he has the best idea ever for this anniversary so I'll wait and see what it is.
