In continuation with my Funny Friday posts, I thought I'd share this sweet gem of a picture.
Coming back to America I had to go through that horrible period where my hair is super greasy as it adjusts back to being washed every other day. Oh and for the first time ever I got really bad dandruff. Now that my hair has adjusted I'm toying with the idea of washing it every third day. I've really been pushing it and pushing it, and some days my hair just looks like a grease bucket. Well it makes for really interesting hair dos when I wake up in the morning, and so for your viewing pleasure...
I know, right? Please ignore the fact that I have total sleep face, and just have a good laugh at my hair. Hal suggested I send it into Duston Todd for a follow up to my sleep picture.
Have you ever tried the whole no shampoo and conditioner thing? Using baking soda and vinegar instead? I'm interested in trying it out, so let me know what your experiences have been.
Have a Funny Friday post? Link to it in the comment section, and if it grows over time I'll start an actual link up.
P.S. I'm headed to my first Sundance movie tomorrow. Here's hoping it's a good one, and that we see someone famous
Since being back from Cambodia I've been toying with how much I wash my hair. In Cambodia my hair was rarely greasy, so I didn't wash it much, and then I got crazy bad build up thanks so profusely sweating every day, so I started washing it every day.

I'm trying to get my hair to go to every 3 days, too, and my hair looked like yours this morning! Good luck!
I haven't tried anything but shampoo/conditioner...so if you do try it out, let me know!!
You should see my hair when it's all crazy. Yours looks like a celeb stylist did it compared to mine!
I am usually trying to skip a day, and use dry shampoo to help it stay okay. Right now it's in that transition stage too. Poor hair of mine...it's still in shock. SoCal climate, then European climate (super hot inside, super cold outside is always always bad) and now back to 75 degrees...it's not happy I can tell.
And you look a lot better than I do in the mornings. ;)
xoxo
I only do the baking soda thing! Except that I've found that I also need to rinse my hair each day to make sure it doesn't get too dry. It's weird. It actually went really well for like two months, but the last two weeks I've been getting dry scalp and I can't figure it out. I might have to go back to some shampoo once a week or so. Hmph.
Good luck on your BS/V excursion! Can't wait to see how it goes!
I got up to a week without washing my hair! Dry shampoo saves the world! Then I got a pixie cut and short hair REALLY saves the world.
I haven't tried the baking soda trick but I wash my hair every 3rd day. Something that is really good too is dry shampoo. It takes the grease right out of your hair and makes it look like day 1 all over again but without having to wash it.
i have super dry hair so i can't wash it every day even if i wanted to! i usually go 2 or 3 days before washing it again. part of me wishes my hair wasn't so dry, but then again, i hate washing it so at least i don't have to do it as often as others! :)
It's funny how our bodies react differently in diff. places. I'm not used to my skin getting so dry on this wintery island!
Climate changes will do that. I apparently now have dandruff too since our move. I've never tried the baking soda or vinegar thing, but going back and forth between shampoos can help.
