So, I always thought the tetanus shot was bad until I received my second Gardasil shot and my arm was so sore. Yesterday trumped all of that.
Apparently some people have a nerve that runs across the top of their mouth...apparently I do. On Monday I had some dental work done, and we discovered this as they were working, but I was pretty numb so when they had to numb the roof of my mouth it wasn't too bad, just a little stinging. Yesterday on the other hand, they went ahead and numbed it in case it effected the tooth next to the one the previously numbed. Oh my goodness gracious, that was the most painful shot I have ever had. They had to numb it in a bunch of places on the roof of my mouth this time. On Monday I had slept through the un-numbing process, but last night I was sitting in institute class as I was become un-numb...and it killed, even through Tylenol.
So the moral of the story is...feel bad for me, and I hope you do not have that nerve.
