Liebster Award

I don't normally do award posts, but I wanted to introduce you all to Heather, over at The Nerdy Fox. She was so kind to give me a Liebster Award. Heather and I go waaaaay back. Like 7th grade way back, and now she's blogging about all things nerdy over at her blog.
The Rules:

1. Thank and link the person that nominated you.
2. White the rules and display the award.
3. Answer the 11 questions and write your own 11 questions.
4. Nominated 5-11 other bloggers that have 200 or fewer followers on their blog.
5. White 11 facts about yourself.

Heather's Questions, and My Answers:
1. What is your dream job? I think this has changed a lot over time. Right now it would probably be working full time as a doula.
2. Cats or dogs? Both. I love both. If I was home more and my apartment allowed it, we'd have a dog. Until then, is it weird I want to train one of our cats to go on hikes with us? That's how bad I want a dog...
3. Describe your perfect meal.  I'd say the perfect chicken breast with mashed potatoes and the most amazing green beans on the side.
4. Describe your favorite outfit. Just super simple, a cute easy dress and some flats.
5. Do you have a hobby, if so what is it? I like to needle felt. I'm not very good yet, but I've done mustaches or animals on shirts, usually as presents for people.
6. What is your dream vacation? Right now my dream vacation would be going back to Cambodia.
7. What would you do if you knew you only had a week to live? I'd never leave Hal's side, and we'd go see everything in the US we haven't seen yet. The Statue of Liberty, The Grand Canyon, Mount Rushmore and take along everyone who wanted to experience wonderful things with us.
8. Who do you admire the most? I admire my friend Meagan above almost anyone else. She is the most kind person I've ever met.
9. What are your best qualities? I care, probably too much sometimes, but I care about people. And I am down for pretty much any new adventure.
10. What movie gave you unrealistic expectations? The Young Victoria stole my heart and made me wish I had her life. He just loved her so much.
11. If you could meet anyone famous, dead or alive, who would it be and why? I feel like my answer for this one will always be J.R.R. Tolkien. His books just shaped so much of my adolescence.

11 Facts about me.

1.   I just agreed to do 2 more births this year. Hopefully between the two of them I can finally certify.

10. I'm on a mission to make new friends in DC.
11. I've finally started reading other blogs again. I've missed it.

My Questions for you:
1.   What is your favorite dessert?
2.   What chore do you absolutely hate doing?
3.   What movie could you watch over and over?
4.   What sound do you love?
5.   If you have 30 minutes of free time, how do you pass the time?

Thanks girl. :) Will work on it soon, and answer your questions. :)

Ah, I always trip, so no worries there. Good luck with your mission on making new friends. I'm sure you can do this easily. :)

I am right there with you when it comes to travel documentaries!!

I also hate public restrooms. A problem one must encounter when traveling >:(
