I Hate Maxi Skirts
Like a lot.
I don't hate all long skirts, just maxi skirts.
Huge striped jersey fabric all over the lower half of my body? No Thanks, they just aren't my style.
I get why people like them. They're easy to throw on, and they're comfortable. But they're like the pajama of the skirt world to me. Bleh.
If I want a comfortable easy skirt, I'll throw on something like this.

It's been 12 years since September 11th, 2001 happened, and here I am living and working in downtown Washington DC. 12 years ago it would have been terrifying to be where I am sitting at this moment. I am so grateful for the freedoms that we are able to enjoy on this day, 12 years later.

I loveeee me some maxis :) but I get your opinion. I'm just a lazy girl and maxis are my jam. I'm not a fan of the sweaters that are longer in the front--I don't get that style.

I don't own a maxi skirt. To me, thin jersey fabric is slouchy and clings everywhere I don't want it to. I have a few floor length skirts from long ago, but Angel doesn't really like those, so a nice knee length full skirt or even a pencil skirt in a good fabric is much more my style.
Haha I am the opposite, I LOVE them. So comfy!
I'm not a fan of pants. Mostly jeans but pants in general. For a curvy girl like me they just aren't comfy. Give me skirts or dresses any day!
I agree about the stretchy stripey jersey kinds! If I'm going to wear a maxi it's going to be more loose and flowy! Those are the kinds I like :) That skirt you bought is darling though!
