My Second Ever Outfit Post + A Blogger Meet Up

It may have taken me a couple of months, but here is my second ever outfit post. I love this outfit. This top and bottom were actually pieces that Hal brought back from London with him. So when I saw that Apricot Lane, a botique about 30 minutes from where I live was having a blogger meet up, I knew my go-to outfit.

I love the zipper detail on the back of the shirt. Brownie points for Hal for remembering that I had really been wanting a shirt with a zipper on it. Seriously, can you believe that he picked these out? I'm kind of still amazed.

Would this outfit look better with a pair of heels? Probably. But do you ever have those days where a pair of shoes are just calling your name? That's what these oxfords did for me.
Apricote Lane ended up being such a cute botique! The staff there were amazingly friendly and it was so fun that they hosted this event. Plus, I bought a really cute shirt from there at the end of the night. So if you're in the Provo area, be sure to check it out.
It was so fun to meet some of these girls. I'm not gonna lie, I was totally being shy and if some of these girls didn't approach me, I may have left without talking to anyone. But I'm really glad I was able to meet these girls, especially Jessi from A haircut and General Attitude who was my very first in real life blogger friend that I've met.
And if you're anywhere near 9th East and Center street in Provo, or even if you're not, you should probably end your outing with fries and an ice cream cone from Stans. You won't regret it.

Outfit Details:
Top: A random store in London
Undershirt: DownEast Basics
Skirt: French Connection
Shoes: Steve Madden
Necklace: A gift

I saw you at Apricot Lane but somehow missed talking to you! Loved the skirt you were wearing. You looked great.

I've always wanted to go to a blogger meet-up. Maybe someday I will, but I think I would struggle with the whole "being shy" thing too. Sounds like fun though :)

What a fun night!! I'm so glad you went...it is a little intimidating going to a blogger meetup, and I'm glad they talked to you and made you feel comfortable. You look adorable!! Hal did so great with the back zipper shirt!

Your outfit is so cute! I'm so impressed that your hubby picked it out! :-) Aren't blogger meetups the best? I get super intimidated too when I go to them but always end up meeting the nicest bloggers. :-)

I think I'd be too scared to go to a blogger meet up! Strange hey. Love the outfit, your husband did a great job. And the shoes are perfect.

I know I would be feeling super shy if I ever went to a blogger meet up, but I bet it would be really fun in the end. You look so cute and he did an excellent job buying those clothes for you! It's always extra impressive when a husband buys something that is perfectly your style!

Oh yes, I've had a few blogger meetups, it's weird right??? Surreal at first, then it's really fun :)

Oh, and that is totally a London top.

I didn't feel like you were shy just for the record, but I totally know how you feel. I felt the same exact way, I left thinking how there were so many amazing girls that I didn't even talk to and how mad I was at myself for that. Oh well, I talked to you at least! That's a start right? Really though it was nice getting to know you. I hope to see you at another one sometime soon!

I LOVE that dress! Hal did amazing!

And I saw the blogger meetup at Apricot Lane but couldn't make it, for some reason. But that would've been fun to see you at it!

And was Stan's really that good? Did you know I lived across from that place for three years and never went? I mean, I passed that place at least four times a day, almost everyday and never tried it because one person told me they didn't like the burger. Maybe I'll have to go try it tomorrow. I do like fries and ice cream.
