Remember when I posted about how Hal was leaving for about three weeks to do a short study abroad?
And I wrote it as if he was about to leave? Well, I have a confession. I lied. He was already gone. In fact, he was just about to come home when I wrote that post. I love you guys, but I couldn't like have someone track me down and kill me because they knew I was home alone.
I really appreciated all of your advice on how to handle life for a bit while your other half is gone.
I have a post coming on my tips for what helped me not go crazy while he's gone. I know there are a lot of you who regularly have your husband go out of town, so if you have any seasoned advice, please e-mail it to me, and I'll share it in my post.

Haha. That's really funny that you said that about your hubby being gone when he was almost home because that's totally what I do when Nate's gone. I don't talk about it on my blog until he's just about home. I'm so glad you have your hubby back! :-)
ReplyDeleteI totally do this, too. Actually, at first I didn't, but when my father-in-law saw that I posted on my blog that Matt was going out of town that weekend, he definitely let me know in no uncertain terms that I should never do that again.
