Halloween Town

Most of you know by now that I stinking love Halloween. I've only done like a million posts in a row about Halloween. In fact, as I sit here I'm eating candy corn. Why is candy corn so delicious? Seriously, when it's rather fresh and soft...mmm....I don't know how they do it, but it's delicious. So, back to Halloween now that it's over I figure I should make my last halloween post and let it rest in peace for 11 more months. I had a hard time getting into the spirit of halloween this year, but then it hit me all of the sudden what I could be, and then it was easier to get into the spirit.

I decided to be a 40's girl. I actually had a dress in mind, and then i thought of an even better dress that I had totally forgotten about!

Sorry for the really crappy quality of this one. It's the only full length one I got though. This dress, which you can see in more detail in some other pictures I'll post is....check this out...vintage Dior. Yeah, you heard me, Dior. I think it's the only designer thing I've ever owned, and I got it for free from someone who was giving it away. Giving it away! Heck yeah!

Hal asked if I had a cool little scarf and I told him to look in my chest. Apparently he found something else he liked in there and emerged like this.
He found my cap and gown in there and decided to be a U graduate. As we were walking out the door he decided he needed another u thing to go with it and decided to give himself a uni-brow. Too bad he had plucked earlier that day or his unibrow would have been a little more realistic. Ha, Hal, that's what you get from making fun of U graduates. He tried to make this face in every single picture we took.

I'm bummed that I didn't get a picture of our friends who came to hang out with us. They had the best hippie costumes I've pretty much ever seen. Two Words: Low V-Neck. On a Guy. Oh man, that would have been awesome. Aren't the Cowboy and Cowgirl costumes amazing? They are Jessie and Woody. My sister made them, isn't she so talented? We had a pretty good Halloween, even though it rained on the trick or treeters. Hope you all had a Happy Halloween. What did you dress up as?
